SCS speaker in international famous events in Europe
European projects IoT4Industry, Digital Innovation Alliance, Cyber Secure Light highlighted
The recognition of the SCS Cluster’s expertise in industrial digitalisation has increased in 2019. Among other things, it has resulted in invitations to take part in international conferences with high visibility on the topic of industrial digitalisation in Europe.
In February 2018, the Cluster, represented by Guillaume Roux, in charge of European projects and international affairs, took part in the EU Industry Days in Brussels, Belgium. The aim was to show how the collaboration between clusters can help digitize the industry, in particular through a presentation of the IoT4Industry (INNOSUP-01) project, coordinated by the SCS Cluster.

On October 29, Alan Martin Redmond, in charge of the Digital Industry ALLIANCE (ESCP-4i) and Cyber Secure Light (ESCP-S3) projects at the SCS Cluster, will present at the IoT Solutions World Congress in Barcelona the challenges and opportunities for SMEs of “smart manufacturing” to integrate IoT and cyber security in their processes.
Finally, on November 4th and 5th, Guillaume Roux will visit the United Kingdom to present the first results of the IoT4Industry project at the Digitalising Manufacturing 2019 conference organized by the Manufacturing Technology Center, a center of excellence. in innovation related to industrial manufacturing and partner of the SCS Cluster.
This international recognition demonstrates the capacity of the SCS Cluster to mobilize and accelerate, in collaboration with its partner clusters, digitalization projects of European SMEs in many industrial sectors, from the automobile to health, through mechanics. It also gives credibility to the approach implemented in the context of the Digital Innovation Hub Move2Digital, coordinated by the SCS Cluster, which brings together players in the digitalization of SMEs in the Region SUD.
