Compositional evolution by aspects of secure services.

SOA architectures are a fundamental component of today’s enterprise-based enterprise information systems being deployed, especially in logistics applications. The SSEA project proposes to study how to secure these architectures as well by horizontal composition to build complex workflows, as vertical to build more elaborate services. The project will develop a model, the first of its kind, of modular composition of security in SOA through the use of aspectual techniques. It will also develop techniques to certify security properties introduced both statically on the code and dynamically by monitoring the resulting service mix.
