Safe Port Automations for Operation, Classification and Traceability.


Redeeming the crest of the French maritime ports marked in their international image by the social climate of the dockside handling sector thanks to a totally innovative system of automated handling management.

Ports are the starting and ending points of shipping, which is a highly competitive business sector where cost pressures are constant and profit margins are reduced. For both the shipowners and the port operators, the cost of passage related to the time of the ship’s immobilization on the terminal becomes the paramount criterion in the choice of port places, and one of the key factors that pulls the market very attractive automated logistics management systems for ports and container terminals.

The ASPECT project focuses on the development of a new, totally innovative system that is completely out of competition with the aim of saving in processing time and storage space of around 30% with an expected impact on the reduction. the hard work of the dockers.

Exploiting the maturity of RFID tags and advanced systems in image processing, it offers new features in terms of personal safety as goods ensuring compliance with the regulations (ISPS code – International Ship and Port Facility Security) mandatory established by the United States following the attacks of 11 September 2001.
