LOHM

There are many civil and military applications that require communication with a mobile element. However, wireless solutions have insufficient speed and security.

The goal of the LOHM (Mobile Broadband Optical Link) project is to design a high-speed optical wireless telecommunication (EDU) link (box) with a mobile element.

The applications are numerous:

– Abandoned sensors (probe, camera …) in hostile environment
– Inter-vehicle optical links (air, land, sea)
– Underwater links
– Long distance optical link (10km)
