MUSIC

Polymer-based transistors for in vivo multimodal recordings.

The goal of MUSIC is to develop the new generation of biocompatible probes for chronic multimodal recordings in animals. MUSIC will use the latest technologies for their realization. In particular, MUSIC will use organic electrochemical transistors, which are very sensitive ion-electron converters. They can measure the flow of ions through the channels with great precision, which will analyze the activity of the brain in a totally new and original way. In addition, these probes can be equipped with biosensors for a wide variety of compounds, such as glucose.

This project was submitted as part of the 2010 edition of the Blanc program of the ANR.
