More effective control on vehicle tires for truck fleets: The ROBINSON project from SCS cluster is the development of a component prototype to identify tires and check their pressure. This solution will allow in a single action to identify and check the pressure of the tires, and this new communication tool will transmit a report in real time. Finish with difficult inspections, where technician must connect a pressure gauge on the valves of each vehicle tire and seek illegible reference numbers often located on the inside of a tire. Beyond this application, the new component will pave the way to new automated services.
The project focuses on the development of the components themselves, the communication and tools to operate these new sensors.
