ARSA

Social Network Analysis for Administrations.

A two-year project, ARSA brings a social network analysis tool to the world of administrations. First of all because these – like the traditional companies – need recent collaborative tools. Secondly, because their role as an interface with citizens requires a great deal of transparency towards them. The project aims at the following result: a social network analysis service hosted on a cloud-computing platform, targeted at an administration such as a medium-sized city, or the Ministry of the Economy of Industry and employment. It contains four parts:

1. An adaptation of existing social network analysis tools for administrations

2. Migration of existing tools to a cloud-computing platform, in order to facilitate the management, maintenance, scaling and dissemination of our tool.

3. Improved algorithms for analysis and querying to identify and characterize social networks more precisely.

4. An organizational integration of the analysis tool, a characterization of the uses of the tool, and a method of evaluating its performance.
